Beginnings

We are pleased to announce that coming soon we will have blog posts on the music and the book Counting Horses. You can get the book and music from countinghorses.com or from iTunes.

A little bit about W.T. Hyde:

W.T. Hyde was born during a severe thunderstorm in his home in Marysville, Idaho. Pots and pans caught the rain from the leaky roof that ushered in the event. He has lived in Idaho, California, and Southern Utah, where he now lives with his wife, Pam of thirteen years.

While he says he isn’t yet educated, W.T. graduated from Ricks College (now BYU Idaho) with an Associate’s Degree in Business and Psychology followed by Brigham Young University with a BA in Communications.

W.T. has been around the world including performances in the Teatro de Sar Suaile in Madrid, Spain, to backyard BBQ’s.

He loves God, Pam, his very, very, very large family, music, his two guitars, especially the Martin H-D 28. Yes, the same guitar his wife says he would rescue before her in the event of a house fire. In asking him what that’s all about. He says, “I don’t know how to respond, so I just do as my penguin friends from Madagascar do–‘smile and wave boys, smile and wave.’”

A list of the different jobs he has held would give the “Great Pretender” pause, including soda jerk, guitar teacher, wrangler, catsup salesman, shoe and clothing salesman, lobby for small business, university administrator, travel agent, semi-conductor production supervisor, employee relations manager, training manager, steel plant safety engineer, administrative manager for a coal-fired power plant, policy writer for 2002 Winter Olympics, alternative medicine practitioner (energy work), author, and singer/songwriter.

His goal is to help people heal–in all ways.
